Traveling GAS Shop
“Hello everyone!
How’s everything going? I’ve been travelling around the globe meeting with talented individuals and working with them on some very exciting projects. But much more interestingly, I’ve been collecting unique goodies on my journey that I can’t wait to share with you all.
During Semi-Permanent 2007, Via Alley hosted the Traveling GAS Shop direct from Tokyo. Traveling GAS Shop is a mobile unit providing access to original and creative works that are not normally available. These include GAS BOOK, GAS DVD, T-Shirts and The New Shopping Bag. For the Sydney stop, Traveling GAS Shop appeared at Semi-Permanent on March 30 and 31, then landed at Via Alley until April 30. It was complemented by the Hello GAS Gallery, showcasing works from some of GAS’s favourite artists.
About GAS As Interface
GAS As Interface is a tool that links artists and cities throughout the world. It sources new artists, provides a platform for artistic expression and produces designed entities. GAS As Interface’s mission is to create an interface between creative resources. In doing so, GAS As Interface produce GAS BOOK, GAS DVD, T-shirts, organise exhibitions and coordinate creative collaborative projects.
