2008.7.23Since 1996, H5 created corporate identities, label logos, cover art and press campaigns for the likes of Superdiscount, Etienne de Crécy, Le Tone, Alex Gopher, Dior Homme Couture by Hedi Slimane, Dior Parfums and YSL Parfums. H5 entered the world of music videos with their highly acclaimed promo for Alex Gopher’s single “The Child”. Following the success of this video, they went on to produce work for various artists including, Super Furry Animals, Playgroup (D&AD nomination, 2nd) and Zebda to name but a few.
H5 joined Black Dog Films and RSA in London & Los Angeles and Addict in Paris. Their first project with Black Dog, Royksopp’s “Remind Me” promo, won them Best Music Video at the 2002 European MTV awards and 1rst video prize at French D&AD (Club des Directeurs Artistiques). More recently, H5 have completed videos for artists such as Massive Attack, Audiobullies, Goldfrapp and Etienne Daho , afterwards a short film for Louis Vuitton on an Air music.
In addition to their commercial projects they have exhibited their work at a number of events including Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), Institute of Contemporary Arts : onedotzero5 (London) 2001, BNF : Graphisme(s) (Paris) 2001, Sendai Mediateque : Movement (Japon) 2001), NAI : New York, New York (Rotterdam) 2002, National Museum of Photography, Film and Television : BAF03 (London 12-15 Nov. 2003),MoMa « Premieres » (NY, November 21, 2004-January 31, 2005).
