Irene Grishin-Selzer is the artist behind the label Iggy and Lou Lou. After completing her Masters degree in ceramics she has gone on to develop the collection now available world wide while continuing her fine arts practice.

Each piece in the Iggy and Lou Lou collection is handmade, drawing on the rich and varied history of the porcelain medium. Working with various decorative themes and narratives, hand drawn and collected images are used to mix notions of the past with the present. Each piece is kiln fired up to four separate times to achieve the desired effects and utilizes the finest and most durable of Australian materials. All metals are sterling silver or 9ct gold.
