Kuntzel + Deygas

2008.7.23

French artists/animation directors Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Deygas first met in 1988 where they immediately sensed the potential for their respective artworks and how they relate to each. Today, they own and operate an art studio in Paris called Add-A-Dog.

Olivier graduated from the Arts Appliques school in Paris and was one of the pioneering French digital image creators.

Their work spans from movies to connections with fictional character and politics, to fashion…. the list goes on and as such it’s almost impossible to define what they are: they are artists + workers + illustrators + directors + authors + designers + character creators + video makers.

One of their most famous works is their work is the title sequence they did for Steven Spielberg on the film “Catch me if you can” As well, their doggie characters, Caperino & Peperone are now happily associated with the popular store, Colette in Paris.

There are a whole lot you can find out about Kuntzel & Deygas in GAS’ latest title, book No. 23, Kuntzel+Deygas, available at VA shop.
