Born in Tokyo in 1973 to artist parents, Nagi grew up exposed to various forms of art.

“By the time she went to elementary school, she would start creating art through clay and drawings. She was famous amongst her friends for her birthday parties her parents throw. Each birthday, her house was transformed into something spectacular: a ship, haunted house.”

Though young, her portfolio includes short films, music videos, the iconic character, han panda (half panda - www.hanpanda.com), Horror café, book covers, be@rbricks, ads…. the list goes on.

• Establish Uchu Country Ltd. in 2003.
• Film director (promotion video, commercial film)/ Art director (advertising, CD jacket, package, book design)
• Awards include Tokyo TDC Gold Prize in 1999, JAGDA Newcomers Prize and Tokyo ADC Award in 2001, Tokyo TDC Members’ Prize, NYADC Silver Prize and Distinctive Merit, and ACC Silver Prize in 2002.
• Projects include NIKE, Laforet Harajuku, YUKI’s promotion videos such as “Stand Up! Sister”, “Sentimental Journey” and “A Humming Bird” and CD jackets, Hikaru Utada’s CD jackets, Suntory’s Late-Late, Oo-long tea and Panda bear AIBO, and Tony Tanaka Holistic Beauty.
