Say it ain’t so Nagi!

Last week VA received some disturbing news. Namely that our most loved of artists, Nagi Noda, had passed away at the young age of 35. Although there were rumours that this was a Nagi-orchestrated stunt, it has been confirmed that our Nagi princess really has passed.

“Beyond being a brilliant artist and wonderful talent, Nagi was one of the most incredibly unique spirits that we have known. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Nagi passed in her Mark Ryden dress, Chanel boots, perfect make-up with Viktor & Rolf lace black eye lashes.”

Born in Tokyo in 1973 to artist parents, Nagi grew up exposed to various forms of art.

“By the time she went to elementary school, she would start creating art through clay and drawings. She was famous amongst her friends for her birthday parties her parents throw. Each birthday, her house was transformed into something spectacular: a ship, haunted house.” (more…)
